Mass for deceased Pioneer Members: The diocesan Mass for deceased members of the Pioneer Association will take place on Thursday 15th November 2012 at 7:30pm in All Saints Church, Ballymena. All Pioneers and friends of our deceased members are very welcome to come along and join with us on this special occasion.

Solemn Evening Prayer: to welcome the ‘Year of Faith’ will be celebrated in St. Patrick’s church on Thursday 11th October at 7:30pm. All Welcome.

Anchor – this faith programme is an ideal way to begin the ‘Year of Faith’. In six two hour sessions the programme.

1. presents the fundamental truths of the Catholic Faith
2. Explains the Mass step by step
3. Lays a foundation of our life in Christ
4. Offers an experience of personal prayer.

This programme will be offered in the Sacred Heart Parish Centre from 7pm – 9pm. on six successive Monday evenings, from 22nd October – 26th November.

Launch of the Year of Faith: It is appropriate that we in Down & Connor should launch this special year in the mother church of the diocese. A joint celebration will take place in St. Peter’s Cathedral on Sunday 14th October to launch the ‘Year of Faith’ and to celebrate the Anniversary of the dedication of the Cathedral. Vespers will be celebrated at 5pm and the invitation is open to all priests and parishioners to attend.




Faith and friendship together: This group provides an opportunity for those in the 30s and 40s to gather together and meet Catholics in a faith based environment. Faith and Friendship is co-hosted by Tobar Mhuire and Clonard Monastery. For more information email faithtogether@clonard.com.
